panhard rod fettling

Post by kenv »

Morning gentlemen, I recall seeing a diagram from someone, probably Stuart, Clive or Peter regarding the bend in the rod to clear the diff, but can I find it using search!?!? Would you be so kind as to re posting it, tried fitting mine but guess what 😉.

Ken

Not from me I'm afraid. I have a Jag rear end.
Cheers, Clive.

Hi Ken,

I don't know if the diagrams you mention were posted using Photobucket, but a while ago all pictures posted that way were deleted as Photobucket no longer supports forum posts so all pictures were lost.
Cheers, Clive.

This any help? You could do with offering it up as there may be slight differences car to car. It only needs to clear the bulge in the cover plate towards the top as the bump stops will bottom out before it hits the diff cover plate any lower.
