Radiator for a 302

Post by kdavies3 »

Hi all, hope you're all safe and well.
I'm looking to mount my radiator (which i haven't got yet) as per original as best I can.
I.E. between the frame rails and hinges.
I know some of you guys have done similar (StewbieC) for one.
Does anyone have a drawing of the radiator and can anyone recommend a reasonably priced place to make it?

Many thanks.

Have you looked at Coolex based in Nottingham.

They make bespoke rads and I am currently dealing with them now regarding a rad build for my car. Friendly guys and happy to help during these times.

Not sure if anyone else has any dealings with them?

Hi Jake, indeed I have looked at them.
I ended up buying one of their of the peg range (70mm thick core) which I'm hoping will be big enough.
They wanted another £160 +Vat to modify it to make it taller.
I hope I don't regret my choice but I'm not intending to race the car.
