Received my clutch line from Brian an BG Supplies and went to fit it today. Unfortunately the supplied adapter doesn’t fit into the slave cylinder. Any ideas what thread it should be?

What slave is it? check out the spec from where you bought it. The one on Car Builder Solutions is 7/16".
Could be metric or imperial, could be 3/8" or 7/16" M10 or M12. (A 3/8" fitting will be loose in the M10.)
They're only pennies so buy one of each as a reference. Unless you're specific you may find you end up mixing metric and imperial cylinders, callipers, switches, reservoirs...anyway.
Make sure you use the correct flare/cone too or copper/rubber dowty ring.
Either that or make sure you have a REALLY BIG brake fluid reservoir.

I'm not sure of your setup, but my 302 has a flexible hose that runs from the master cylinder, round the front of the engine bay to the slave cylinder where it is attached using a banjo fitting. There is no adaptor.
Cheers, Clive.

Re: Rover slave cylinder thread
Seems I was a bit hasty. The supplied adapter is incorrect (M12-7/16) but the 7/16 end WILL go into the slave (I didn’t want to force it) so I need and have just ordered a 7/16-7/16 male-male adapter

Excellent,
Would be a good idea to build a parts list so next time you go to it you have the details...
