Clutch Line

Post by StewbieC »

Hi all,

I've got Gerry's hydraulic clutch line kit, any suggestions for routing the pipe are welcome!
No sarcastic comments please!

If it is the long braided hose like mine, I routed it up the O/S chassis tube, round the front of ther engine and back along the N/S chassis tube to the slave cylinder. It more or less falls into place.
Cheers, Clive.

(If I'm not here I'm in my workshop or on the golf course!)

I went with a more 'period' look. Rigid Kunifer pipe from the cylinder up to the bulkhead and along over the bellhousing, coming round to the L side. Fixed rt angle bracket to hold union to a stock braided clutch hose, or in this case a TR4 brake hose IIRC. Didn't really want the long flexy thing flopping about everywhere (!).

Cheers for that chaps, I'll have a look at the two options.
I have got the long floppy flexy thing but I'll take a look at Roger's rigid option too
