Hi chaps
I need UNC bolts to attach a 302 engine to a stand.
Without any thread gauges looks like I need 3/8"?
There are a couple of clearance holes, one either side of the engine, that it looks like I can use through bolts in, but I think I will have to bolt directly into a couple of tappings.
Actually, No.
They are not clearance.
Just spotted they are tapped as well.
Roger mentioned Namrick but anyone know any local suppliers in Herts.
I'm in St Albans

Re: UNC Bolts
Hi John,
I used Namrick for all of my bolts etc. First class company and delivery next day.

Re: UNC Bolts
Normally, with the Clark / Sealey Engine stands you pick up on four of the bellhousing bolt holes.
If you pm your address I think I've got four that you can have. They are a bit long but you can use oversize nuts or washers on the bolt head side of the stand to space them off. I wont be able to get them until the weekend, but let me know either way.
