Just for me... when can I collect the finished car?! LOL...
Not a fan of black wheels, but all of the above colours are good looking and just a little different from the norm, I wish I had your dilemma, I really do!

Hawk 289 FiA...AT LAST!!!
Re: project insanity
It is a bit of a dilemma as I want to do this once & once only & not think "I wish I'd done this that or the other". Colour is a very personal thing & it has to sit right with you & have longevity, so that you don't become bored with it. leaving it all bare would be the easy option, but being a sprayer by profession it might be hard to leave it alonenikbj68 wrote:Just for me... when can I collect the finished car?! Hi Alan, any of those greens would look good, it's just that I'm struggling with green as it would be one of my least favourite colours normally, but on this style of car it just looks soooo right & I like it immensely, which I find at odds with how I normally feel about itcatsx11 wrote:I'm with you on that one Nige!
The dark green or Blue body are both spot on!, Aluminium top, black wheels
According to the paint chip site I sent you, I think Ivy, Moss or Cascade green, which ever is the darker.
I think the Cascade Green has a blue 'ish hue
cheers..Nige

Bizzarre. A paintshop man who's pride and joy isn't painted.
Dark blue/black, no contest.

Agreed, Wodge, I was hoping we could steer Nige away from that look!

Uuuh! I can't see what you posted Nik, was it a picture & which one are you trying to steer me away from ? As you say Rog, it is a bit bizarre for a painter to not paint his car. This is why I'm having difficulty in deciding whether to leave it alone or paint it. It's like having someone on either shoulder telling you two different things, maybe I need treatment for these voices I'm getting. At the moment the blue/black is winning, but that could change at any timeRoger King wrote:Nah, don't like that, looks a bit... weird

edit
Now I can see it, I've seen that pic before, but I don't like the shiny roof at all, but it might look much better if it were brushed or with a satin finish (media blasted). Certainly wouldn't have the helmet hump in it
