Underfloor is done, incl. a small outlet pipe, to drain the the footbox if it is full of water :-(

The aluminium panels protect the chassis tubes, at least I hope so. And it looks better :-)

Migge, great photo of a great build. Your car looks fantastic and the period detail is a credit to you. I've enjoyed your build thread and the washer jets are a nice touch! Thanks Lee

Well,

It took me 5 h to fill all the pipes, filter, remote, sender etc. with oil and to get the air out and then I got nearly 40 psi with a drill :)

The guy who wanted to do all connections with the wire harness is fighting a divorce and can work on my car maybe in the second week of June :(

Usual technique is to remove distributor, insert oil pump priming shaft, spin on drill until oil pressure shows. Alternatively you can simply remove the spark plugs and crank the motor until the gauge shows pressure. What were you doing for 5 hrs, Migge?
You know this already, but yet another reminder won't hurt... DON'T FORGET TO BREAK-IN THE CAM! Unless it's a roller cam (not roller rockers), obviously.

Engine was running before I bought it, so no running in :) .

I know the priming procedure Roger but thanks anyway.

The oilpump was sucking air, because it took me a while to fill all pipeswith oil. The whole system was new and empty. Oil pipe from pump to oil cooler, pipe to oil filter remote, (filter was filled up), then again over sender temp. and pressure back to the pump. And air holes all over.

It'll find its way around if you keep running the drill!
