After mounting the second time a brand new dizzy, the problem is solved :)

The 360 miles trip to SPA proofed that. The other "old" dizzy, that was laying on the shelf for a few years had a inside a weak iseal that allowed the oil to go up the spindle to the dizzy body and drops out of one of the holes directly on top of the dizzy clamp.

Cheers

Thought it would be a good idea to cover the headlights and the indicator inside the wings to avoid dirt and water to the electrics.

Mounted rivet nuts to 3 brackets and "glued" them with Sikaflex to the GRP. Another 2 rivet nuts to my bumper bracket. Carboard template and then aluminium covered with a rubber edge seal. At the bottom 15 mm space to let the wind and water from the front getting out.

Very nice, very neat protection for the lights under the front wings. How did you align the holes in the plate / rivnuts? Did you take the headlights out?

It was just a guess and bigger holes :-)

The plastic washers hide them :-)

Another little master piece Migge.
I would always favour using a cardboard template especially for irregular shapes. It's easy to cut it about to make it fit and then you can also detect where the holes are before cutting the metal.
