It is as engine builder fitted and the same as all other Edelbrocks I’ve had.

Interesting. My Edlebrock has the throttle linkage on the near side.

https://www.the289register.com/phpBB3/d ... php?id=428 Looking back through the forum i found this picture of Roger's car. Admittedly it's a Ford engine but the fulcrum appears to be further back.

Another thought is what manifold are you using? It appears to be rather high hence your need to have the air filter pan stepped down. I had to change my inlet manifold to a low profile Edelbrock Performer to give me the clearance. If you could do that then there would be more clearance under the air filter.

Now finished and seems to work well. Made a new bracket and did a LOT of playing with the linkage to get full movement of the accelerator pedal/carb
