Was using a 7/8" drop base filter with the RPM manifold but it was choking the engine at high revs (air cleaner lid to close to the top of the carb). The combination of intake/filter is there, I just need to find the one that gives me the best results!
Use summit on a regular basis as I tend to be state side at least once a month. Have goods shipped to hotel - saves postage and import duty!

Finally the job is finished, custom made base plate, the rest standard K&N parts.
Clearance check according to method: "Dr. King", but with :Blaetterteig. I leave it for you to find out the english verb!
In my opinion, specially the air flow from the top, is a better solution.
