Nice find Clive. :)

A P51D Mustang would be on my list as well. Compared to Spitfires, they're relatively cheap and plentiful and technically a better and stronger aircraft.

My love affair with the DC-3/C47 started in the mid sixties when we used to fly from Turnhouse to Ronaldsway for our holidays in a British United DC-3. and was rekindled in the 1970s in Sweden where I was on an exchange with the Swedish Airforce and we flew from base to base in a C-47. Flying at 3 - 4,000 ft the world slid past at a docile pace compared with aircraft of today.
