Wow! Your car is one of my favourites.

I hope your next project is somehow 289 Cobra related.

Popped your ad' on T289R Facebook page for extra, worldwide exposure.

Thanks Phil. Well I already have the LeaF project on the go so the replacement will need 8 cylinders. Gives me a chance to get the garage and workshop kit sorted out while plans develop.

Robin, hope you're not deserting us! We'll miss your exceptional sense of humour and wealth of knowledge. I know we still haven't met, well, we live so very far away I'm not surprised... but you'd better not desert the forum or we'll send the boys round.

Shocker! Saw your car at CPOP a few years back, the developing plan will have to go some way to beat that!!!
Best of luck with whatever follows.

Chaps - thanks for the kind words. I've renewed my subscription for next year so you'll have to put up with me a bit longer. I will let you know what's (hopefully) happening next as things develop.

They didn't quite beat Lee's record for speed of sale but they came close. On their website Monday during the day, deposit taken Friday and sale completed today. Too late to change my mind now

Was good to see you t'other day Robin, didn't have time to look out my black arm band to mourn the passing of the BRA.

I will of course soldier on and keep the flag flying !

If the new project does not come together please call back and I will be happy to sell you something fast, nimble and GREEN :D
