Sounds like a plan. I'll do a deal and pass the savings into my bank account

As I understand it, the backspace onto 6.5" wheel is 105mm, and on the 8.5" wheel its 100mm. Look like Gerry's wheels to me.

I'll keep you posted :)

John, Andy G. is converting to peg drive. You can ask him if he is selling his spline wheels.

Quite happy with that. Need to check fit tonight :)
Splines look good and the backspace looks good too but will know for sure later. Mottled/patchy finish is just rain.

The other set look really clean if anybody is interested in them, though the adapters need to be re-fitted on the front wheels. They removed one so that I could compare it directly against the wire wheel I took along.

If anybody is interested in the second set of FIA splined wheels available on Ebay, the splines are spot on for the MGB hubs and the backspace is good at the front (100mm) though reserving judgement at the rear (103mm). I've attached some pics of the fitting to show the relative position of the wheels on a Slabside. Think I might get away with it if I fit some VERY narrow tyres :D

At £1k for the set of 4 they are a great deal so I'm posting this as I'm guessing somebody on the forum may be interested in the other set - John H, I'm looking at you :)
