FIA scrubbers

Post by Dave Woodward »

Anybody have an old set of FIA tyres that are not fit for road use. Need something as a temporary measure for rolling purposes.

Cheers.

Hi Dave
Yes I have some age expired Pirellis in good nick, just old - 2x P6000 215/60 and 2 x P600 235/60. Parks and Gardens is keen to see them out of the garden shed so you'd be doing me a favour taking them. We can get them to Warrington in due course or Stanford in Feb.
Let me know if they're of use.
Regards Peter

Hi Dave,

I have a pair of 255 60 r15 Kumho tyres with plenty of tread if you want them.

Thanks Peter. Happy to help you out :D
Happy to hook up in Warrington or Stanford. There's no mad rush so happy either way.

Thanks again.

Hi Phil.
Thanks for the offer. Peter has offered a set of four so I should be ok in the short term.

On the basis that they have good tread, what are your long term plans for the tyres? Would be interested to see how the fuller tyre looks.

Thanks again.

Dave.
