I notice that there aren't any front nudge bars there.
Cheers, Clive.

(If I'm not here I'm in my workshop or on the golf course!)

Maybe not, but there are a lot more 'difficult' (were impossible) parts available now thanks to Gerry and others. Almost a bit of a shame when you've spent years and a lot of money finding rare original bits to find a 500 quid pair of washer jets can now be had for 150-odd!

Is that '+ VAT' on the ad? I thought all prices these days had to be quoted including VAT.

What does ali/bronze spinners mean - is that bronze plating on an ali spinner, or ...?

I had a chat with Gerry about the ali/bronze spinners. He says they are made from an amalgam of the two metals which gives them a rougher surface finish, increased strength and less tendency to corrode and get stuck on. He said this is how the originals were produced.

I saw one and it certainly looked very nicely made, but I'm no expert.

Aluminium bronze is a fairly frequently used alloy for the reasons already mentioned.

I bet it's a lot lighter than my stainless steel items provided by Trigo
