Not to everyone's taste I know, but that's why I like it. V low mileage, immaculate condition and a bloody good price
I'm sure you'll enjoy it. They're very high-tech for a Morgan, with bonded (I think) aluminium chassis and BMW mechanicals, so it should also be reliable.

Only worth the sum of its parts as its V5 will be withdrawn this year. They don't tell you that in the advert!
Has that actually been stated?
If so, the sensible action would be to buy at a knock-down price and put it through IVA, assuming the paperwork is present. A lot of work but not impossible.
Whilst there could possibly be changes that affect the licensing of certain cars in the future, why do you believe that this car will have its V5 withdrawn this year?

OK, it`s 6 months ago, but when I enquired, there was little movement on price due to recent massive engine investment. (I wasn`t pushing the registration issue at the time though)
Is it an MGB? No!
MOT testing stations have been told to inform the DVLA and refuse to test cars that clearly aren't what they are described as. I understand the DVLA will then "investigate" (probably means inspect) with a view to withdrawing the V5C.
SVA/IVA has been around many years now, with a long "amnesty" before it was introduced. There is no excuse.

I would have taken a punt at 20 (maybe even 25K) but certainly no more than that. Sherwood restorations need to get their finger out and get it sorted.
Can you imagine someone pay 40+K then a few weeks/months later being told their car was illegal. There would be some poo heading towards the wind machine then, especially as they KNOW it's incorrectly registered.
