Nothing to do with me, but thought I would share here in case anyone wants what looks like a nice Hawk:

Re: Hawk for sale on eBay
It's continuation with a small "c" Dave, so I don't think they're actually making any particular claim in that regard. I suspect they're using it as a creative alternative to "replica".

Re: Hawk for sale on eBay
Definitely "sales speak" to enhance value over using the words 'replica' or 'kit'!
It would be interesting to know whether the chassis number is Hawk or MGB-related...

Ah! Hadn't spotted this - well, it is to do with me.
I bought this car around 18 months ago with the idea that it would give me some Cobra motoring while the build of COB6726 continued along its seemingly interminable course. As things panned out, I didn't use it, so it's sat under cover for a year or so and now the 'proper' car's done it's for sale. Bradley James took it on for me and have clearly decided ebay's a good place to help, so there you have it.
It's a lovely car, I wouldn't buy rubbish - and it's registered as a 'Hawk kit', so all correct and proper. It's a really nice, clean and fun drive - but I would say that, wouldn't I. I'd advise anyone looking for a straightforward Rover-motored Hawk to give it a whirl and see what they think.

I'll send you an email.

Enlightening on pricing.
Perhaps I should up my insurance value a tad more.
I can see this one is a bit cleaner/ tidier than mine ( as expected from Roger ) but then mine has a tuned 4.6 and it's a FIA.
Mine is 2 years older and 2K more miles.
Food for thought especially if I get the stone chips sorted.
