Anybody have a spare set of bonnet latches.
I don't need the boot latch or glove box lock hence the question.
Cheers.
Dave.

Dave,
You really need the type with the thin round escutcheon plate rather than the type shown above with the thick cast oval mounting. They also shouldn't have locks in them if you're going for originality.

S+J Motors sell the correct type, with the round escutcheon.

Re: Hawk bonnet latches
Nik, I think the back ground is just dimpled polystyrene not egg box material.
Personally I would sacrifice some originality for the secrurity of being able to lock the bonnet and keep the light fingered brigade away.
I deliberately had the boot with a different key as well.

I agree with wanting to be able to lock the bonnet. Although not truly authentic, there are a couple of others things about the car that may also be considered not completely authentic
Dodger, thanks for the offer. Following Paul's note, I think I'm going to see if I can find some with circular escutcheons at the NEC classic this coming weekend. Are you likely to be attending?
Thanks again.
Dave.

Hi there,
Can't make the NEC I'm afraid, I'm sure it will be a good show.
Hope all of you going have a great time,
