And the sump is well battered.

Not sure what provenance there would be to confirm it is a hipo. There's no mention of the mains caps, but anyone can change those anyway...
Casting code proves nothing, it was the same for hipo as for 'ordinary' block. Hopefully there is a stamped engineering number or similar to help with provenance.
