Nothing to do with me, but I thought it might be of interest to someone. It doesn't say what it's registered as though

Daytona for sale
Re: Daytona for sale
I saw this already and wondering why the car is so inexpensive?
Maybe some issues or an old Type I model?

Re: Daytona for sale
At the risk of sounding sniffy, I think it hasn't sold because it just doesn't look right.
It's almost there, but not quite - the wheels don't sit correctly in relation to the body and the overall shape looks a touch scaled down, especially at the rear.
Whilst from some angles, it's an attractive car in it's own right, but it won't be for everyone as it certainly won't suit the purists among us and to the average Cobra rep owner, it won't be sufficiently Cobra shaped to float their boats.
Yes, at this sort of money, it's a relatively inexpensive route into a very distinctive car, but...
Just my opinion of course and no offence intended whatsoever to its' current owner (or indeed its' prospective purchaser).

I'm new to the forum, so apologies if i'm incorrect, however this looks like a Corvette to me particularly from the side and rear three quarter view.

Welcome Hamy,
Yes you're right, you are incorrect.
I think you'll find that it's nothing like a Corvette, at least any Corvette that I'm familiar with.

Hi Hamy,
Welcome, and if it's any consolation I think the second picture does look similar to a Corvette!

Yes, that second picture definitely has shades of a C3 about it. Something to do with the rear wheelarch and stance - not a great Daytona copy, I'd think
