Looks good. They recently sold a Hawk 289. Don’t know what it went for.

Re: 'Toolroom copy' Ace
It would be nice to know the definition of tool room copy.
Looks brand new so assume it’s been re created by a competant car builder to match the original but then it’s no longer a 1951 car.

Re: 'Toolroom copy' Ace
I doubt that Brooklands Cars Ltd would have any wish to sell a car under another trading name as they would wish to get as much advertising as possible under their own name.
Just discovered another Cobra specialist Redline Cars over near Ottershaw who claim to have ex AC personell.

So far as I am aware, Redline only do Sales and servicing. They advertise a few other things but when I made inquiries a few years a go, there was a defining silence. I am not aware they have any production facilities.peterc wrote: ↑Fri Feb 15, 2019 5:49 pm I doubt that Brooklands Cars Ltd would have any wish to sell a car under another trading name as they would wish to get as much advertising as possible under their own name.
