I think Simon is correct that’s its the same car as the bitza creation. So I don’t think it’s an FIA as the doors do not have the reverse curve. I think you are already aware of what this car is actually registered as.
The question is how similar is a Cobra chassis to previous models of AC. Are they like for like dimensionally or just similar in design.

I wonder what happened between 1949 & 1984
The current owner must have obtained the V5 in 2021.
I would think the value would only go up if the registration details were corrected.

If 1949 is correct, then the Carroll Shelby history needs rewritten!

The date of 1949 is OK for a 2L Saloon first made in ‘47.
Of course the Cobra came along in ‘62 hence the 60th Anniversary this year.
