Re: Ouch
Who was driving? That's where Whizzo Williams typically goes off isn't it?

Re: Ouch
Karsten Le Blanc was driving - apparently he's ok. More pictures here:

Re: Ouch
It's difficult to tell from the pictures provided, but there's every possibility that it's a Kirkham and the "original" is tucked up safely somewhere.

Re: Ouch
Picked up some parts at the weekend from a chap who has a small number of historically important cars (as they say in dealer blurbs) and we got talking about Goodwood. He's stopped taking his cars to any of their events because there are too many people with a surfeit of money over ability and common sense. The Monaco Historique GP has largely gone the same way with investment bankers in their more modern GP cars replacing the older stuff. Anything at Goodwood is such an event (almost a pantomime) these days and with such global exposure that a lot of those with limited talent seem to leave their brains at home and get carried away. Shame - but in that sense I suppose Goodwood has become a victim of its own success. The Edwardian chaps seemed to have fun without taking huge risks but then they race against each on a regular basis anyway. Still nice to see Daytona reps (we don't allow reps ) doing their stuff - loved the green one with the yellow nose band.
