Becoming a Goodwood member

Post by amulheirn »

So... I just decided to apply to be a Goodwood member, but (as you probably know), you can only join the waiting list. Bums. I'm probably position 65,231,312 in the list.

Anyone care to put in a good word with Lord March for me? I think he'd like my style.

I applied years ago and when the invitation to join arrived in the post, I declined to take it up. Goodwood is too far away for me to be able to get value out of the membership unfortunately.

Sort of ditto, really... I was one of the first 100 members, but found myself not even getting there once a year so packed it in after three years. Bloody expensive and not really representative of true historic motorsport any more in my opinion, hot rods and cheque books more important than authenticity. I mean, Gerry Marshall winning the saloon car race in an Alvis????
