That'll be an inguinal one, then? Hope that's a joke, otherwise hope it's sorted quickly!! When you change the pads Dave, it's traditional to use a jack...Dave Woodward wrote:MOT mid March - Check

Or the Swiss company that called their car the "Growler" Don't google that if you are at work!!!Old Boy Racer wrote:Erm - Range Rover marketeers. Still at least they didn't call it Cedric.
Reminds me of the old joke back in XR3i days (nope I had a Golf GTI mk1) about why they are all called clitoris. Because they are all red and every ....... got one. I'll leave now. Robin

I don't remember hernia repair requiring a polisher - the sutures usually smooth out on their own... or... maybe your surgeon is East European? Hmm...StewbieC wrote:Yes Dave, get well soon!! Polisher dug out and ready.
Get well soon, Dave. I had a unilateral inguinal done many years ago now, and it was fine. Just don't plan on doing too much too soon afterwards!

Had mine fixed a few years back at a clinic in Cambridge. They used a sort of expanded mesh similar to the stuff on Goodridge brake hoses. Easy fix if a tad expensive but at least I can stop quickly if somebody is about to walk into me. Robin

Don't forget to change the fluid every 2-3 years, Robin.Old Boy Racer wrote:Had mine fixed a few years back at a clinic in Cambridge. The expanded mesh is more like the stuff on motorway embankments to hold the soil together for trees - it gives a matrix for the weakened (herniated) muscle wall to stay in place.
I'll say hello to the Railton crew on the MSA Classic from you, tomorrow.
