Just had this erected, needs a car to put in it now
Still need to sort out the fencing and remove the old gate at the entrance
Interior need a few 'home comforts' .... shelving, benching, tool chest and possibly a two post lift.
Nice size single garage though at 7.5 x 4.5

Hi Dale,
That's a nice new garage. If I were you, I'd seriously consider insulating and lining it. I've done it with mine and it make a world if difference. I used panels of insulating foam, cut to fit between the frame posts and then lined with water resistant plasterboard. It will be much easier to do while its empty.

Cheers Paul .... Insulation seems a bit OTT to keep condensation down ... I'd have thought most of the coldbridging will be coming through the floor & I may be putting rubber tiles down.

I don't think it's OTT. It's cheap and easy to do and makes it an acceptable place to work in the winter. I also run a dehumidifier 24x7.

Wow. I know we worship these cars, but you're the first person I know who's actually built a chapel for it to live in. You need to get it finished soon, though, Dale, now you've got a stunning timber garage for the daily.
Very nice job, but I'd go with Paul about the insulation. And it's worth getting your ACF50 Corrosion Block lined up ready for the ally/steel interface!

I think I would have been very tempted to extend and finish building the brick building. Ultimately these buildings would have been used to pay homage to your chosen religion. In this case of course paying homage to the contents, namely one new Cobra.
Besides Gothic arches in a garage would be great.

Three very different architectural styles you've got going there Dale, from New England barn, through Gothic chapel to Neolithic stone circle.

I'm just trying to work out where I can build a 70's concrete structure to complete the picture.
I will be getting a de-humidifier, start looking in the new year once she stops spending all the money in the sales
