Public knowledge

Post by Roger King »

We knew this was coming, and it is now up and running: the DVLA website will now tell you all it knows about any car except the VIN and the owner's details (and emissions etc. That's the car's emissions, not the owner's). You no longer need to enter a make, just the registration number - the site will tell you what it's registered as. You don't have to be the owner - anyone can access this service.
I've just run a few numbers through it, out of interest... and some were very interesting...

Mentioned on another site was a good smart fone app, keeps tabs on your Mot with reminders, also gives info on Mot history, with previous advisories if you are looking for a used motor and if you are just nosey like me & the neighbours got a new car :).....Vehicle Smart

This is why driving and messaging at the same time don't work.

Allegedly
