It's very good news indeed.

The reply I got from my local MP was basically "but we must cut down on emissions". She really didn't get the gist of what was being said in my letter. Normally she would get my vote, but as a result, I'll be putting my 'X' in another box come voting day.

That reminds me that I need to chase my MP who hasn’t bothered to reply !!

Brilliant, I'm due to finish the (non emission compliant) engine next week and was expecting to have to wait until July to possibly fit it! As has been said sometimes they listen.
