Bill, as I am a freelance commissioning engineer, it is mostly based on the orders that are coming in, and that varies a lot. Sometimes you are at home 2-3 weeks inbetween and sometimes only a day. It is very difficult for planning, because these jobs are worldwide. When I have a lot of time I could be finished in 6 months, when I have not so much time maybe end of year.

Received my FIA wheels from the US today. I mounted two tyres, so I can test with the body later this week. Rear needs machining, as discussed before.
Interesting might be the price:
948 € + 252€ custom and import tax= 1200€, compared to the 1650 GBP in the UK

Me too, Bill, but as always, when it gets interesting the next job is coming. So down with the tools and off to Romania!

Now all you need to do is paint 'em black (apart from the spinners)

Have been watching your build notes with interest.

Just for the record I bougth my FIA wheels from Gerry identical to yours (spline drive not peg) I waited over a year for them to be delivered and I paid £2,350.00 plus VAT thats £2,761.25, looks like you got a bargin or I got a raw deal!

Forgot to mention I also bought the wheels at the begining of 2001, perhaps on reflection splined hubs are more expensive than peg drive?
