How much??????

Alan's coming to the NEC tomorrow, I'd better not let him near the DH stand.

Which bit? Famous Guru status, or £53k for the car?!
See you at the NEC at some point over the weekend?

Nik, when you say back on the market this is not to be confused with the Sherwood car that's wrongly registered.

Yes, a nice car albeit at quite a high price. I think Andy's car is more authentic with the Ali parts in the cockpit.
Perhaps it's a gauge of where we should all be valuing our car's after deducting a little bit of agents commission and adjustment for quality of build.

Referring to Roger by word of mouth in connection with the engine would within the club suggest a certain level of quality. Of course it's up to Roger but I would have thought it shouldn't be used in a commercial situation.

Definitely no confusion, Peter, this isn't the first time the car has been for sale.
It's only when seeing this & Andy's car that I realise how much of a good scrub-up mine needs!

"...£80-90,000 for a Kirkham."? You'll be lucky, especially now with the exchange rate. :(

Andy's car looked absolutely stunning on the club stand at the NEC.

It's not my name being on there that concerns me; it's a statement of fact that I built the engine and was heavily involved in the build. But I have never, and would never, claim to be a 'guru' of any sort - unless there's an interesting alternative definition which I haven't come across yet, in which case I might be interested.*

Paul - that text, in fact the whole description panel, is the one they used when DH last advertised the car in 2012/3. They haven't updated it.

*isn't it a kind of wildebeeste?

No, I'd definitely look twice at a car advertised like that.
