Spotted on ebay, nothing to do with me:

This looks like the ultra-rare correct size as used in the 427R cobra.
The lid is wrong, as they were plunger operated, but the correct lids also come up on ebay usually with the taller bottles.
Correct trico plunger available from Hawk.
Stickers and brackets are available elsewhere.

Be prepared to go to £50+. Madness for an old piece of plastic, but there it is.
The brackets can usually be found on ebay, as can the stickers.

you are aiming for this:

and one of these....

You had me at 'obsessive' Kev!
Thanks for these - I already have the switch, ready and waiting to go in the car.
I actually have a Trico square bottle fitted, but it's a very skilfully cut down version that Dave converted.
To the naked eye, it's indistinguishable from an original, but...
I think I might need to go over £50 by the looks of things.
IVA today...

Thank you Kevin!
It has not been our day today, IVA wise. It failed on emissions.

Re: Trico washer bottle....for those of an obsessive disposition.
- that th only failure? I so, not bad, although annoying to have to pay a re-test fee.
Re: Trico washer bottle....for those of an obsessive disposition.
No, there were some other minor points, but nothing much worth worrying about. Dave's the maestro when it comes to IVA though, so I am very confident that the car is in the best possible hands!
Retest shouldn't be too long and then we can focus on bringing it back to 1965 appearance, rather than how it looks right now...
Update to follow soon.

Winning bid > £100! - How prices rise! Thought I'd paid a lot for mine at £40 a few years ago.
