Just wanted to share a few sneak peeks of the stand build-up in hall 1 with you all!
The chaps have been working hard to implement Phil's stand design, with cars contributed by Nik, John and Gerry, plus a 289 motor on loan from Hawk Cars.
If you are passing, don't forget there are goody-bags available for existing members if you come to the stand. We are in hall 1, stand 510 - next to the AC Owners Club.
Big thanks to all the members who have been involved in designing and setting up the stand!

Will someone passing to get me the Goddy Bag?
Just kidding. Wish all of you huge success and a good time.
Cheers

Re: NEC Classic Motor Show - Tomorrow!
I just wanted to thank all the team involved and all the members that stopped by.
Feedback received was excellent and even the GT40 Enthusiasts Club were a little embarrassed to admit how our stand had upstaged them!
Plenty of work goes on behind the scenes to make these events work and the positive comments received by the visiting members and general public make all of the efforts worthwhile.
A number of new members signed up during the show and plenty asked for details and took those away with them.
Plenty of pictures and videos on the FB and Twitter feeds and no doubt other platforms of which I am too IT inept or socially unnetworkable to know about

Nice work guys, thanks for making this visitor feel very welcome and to John for the 'goodie bag'!
Nicely recycled and updated stand displays and good to be open on all sides.
Take a bow all of you that contributed to make the show a success.
Cheers,
Colin

Re: NEC Classic Motor Show - Tomorrow!
Judging by the Facebook pictures, it wouldn't take much to upstage the GT40 stand!
Well done to all for your hard work and to Phil for coming up with the goods.

Re: NEC Classic Motor Show - Tomorrow!
Can't believe it was a week ago!
I may be a little biased, but I think the Club punches well above it's weight with the creative content of the display, and the fact that as neighbours we had the ACOC, Lamborghini UK, GT40EC, Aston Martin, Bugatti & DeTomaso shows that the organisers feel the same!
My heartfelt thanks to the build/breakdown teams and particularly Phil Riley for design & layout, and Hawk Cars for the Daytona & display engine( with 'authentic' oil leak!), and to those who manned the stand, I don't think I've seen it busier in the 10 years I've been on or around the stand! 71,000 visitors to the show, my voice feels like I spoke to each of them...twice!
