The next phase.
Loading up to get the "Splashed from a Real One" GRP body repaired/modified/corrected ready for buck production...
Well, I did buy it off eBay!
The next project.
Re: The next project.
That's looking really good Dave, much better than when I saw it a few weeks ago. I'm sorry I wasn't able to fit you in to do the body mods for you, but I really do need to complete the work I have in progress first before taking on anything else, it's just the timing was wrong I'm really looking forward to seeing this completed

Re: The next project.
Are you obliged to have the larger separate brake/ indicator circular rear lights as per the later models to meet the latest IVA regs.
E.g. The rear wings should have the smaller flat area to accept the reactangular style light fitting but asssume that does not meet the needs of angle of view/ light immission.

The rectangular lights are fine if the edges of the lens are radiused/blunted.
That is another part of the body that will be getting "Adjusted"

I think you'll find that the tube running down the centre of the engine compartment will foul on the carb Dave.
Looking really good. Very well done.

Re: The next project.
A bit of an update. (It's been a while)
The first 289FiA car aluminium bodywork is almost finished.
Hopefully in a bout four weeks I will have it in my grubby hands and ready to start the build up [attachment=3]20190131_104845_resized.jpg
