Covid 19

Post by simonjrwinter »

What a shitstorm eh?
There will no excuse not have done all those jobs on the car by the time this is all over.
NEXT summer, we’ll all have the shiniest, best running cars imaginable!
Keep well everybody, keeping away from people is soooo much better than the possible alternative 😳

I agee Simon, it's a bit of a scary world at the moment. I'm now looking to change my working habits to try and avoid too much contact with the others in the workshops

None of us are getting any younger, not many 25 year olds can afford our “playthings”
Those of us of a certain age need to protect ourselves. I think the lockdown is coming though, within the next few days I suspect.
I can see a lot more people posting on this site (which is the only glimmer of good news!) so let’s try and keep it sociable and non-critical, we need to be cheered up in these uncertain times.

I certainly agree with the last comment. We need to keep everyone’s spirits up. Too much negative news it’s worse than Brexit.

Whoever would have thought Brexit would have been the last thing on our minds😳

I see on the Cobra Club forum that IVA tests are getting cancelled too.
Don't know if it's across the board or just one centre?

Look on the bright side...

Yesterday afternoon I had to take someone to Edinburgh Airport for 5 pm, (Middle of the rush hour) over the Queensferry Crossing and main road in/out of Edinburgh. Normally at that time of the day I would expect the journey to take about two hours each way, but yesterday it was just over 90 minutes there and back! It's a pity there is still loads of salt on the roads otherwise I'd be out in the 289!
Cheers, Clive.

(If I'm not here I'm in my workshop or on the golf course!)
