Car tests on TV

Post by peterc »

Each year EVO magazine conduct a mega car test resulting in EVO car of the year. E.g. eCoty.
This year it starts with 16 cars at a race track and ends up in Scotland with 8 from which to make a final choice.
This year it is also on TV as a documentary.
So set your recorders for 8.00 pm on ITV 4 on both 22nd and 23rd Dec.
I am currently reading the hard copy but won’t reveal the winner. Hoping it’s not another Porsche.

Thanks Peter, I'll see if I can find a blank tape to record it on.
Cheers, Clive.

Not sure my tape player is still connected as I have used a hard drive recorder and DVD’s for quite a few years now. I’m sure the old tape m/c allowed you to record two weeks in advance but modern technology only allows 7 days. So much for modern equipment being better!.?

I'll just need to check out the VideoPlus+ codes to programme the machine. :?

My video recorder would automatically change the satellite decoder channel to suit the programmed recording...until Sky spoilt it by going to over 99 channels, as the output was only 2 digits! 🙄
(It wouldn’t select side or audio band channels either, but that’s another story...)
