Had a great day out on Sunday at Thruxton Historic with the whole family - kids through to grandparents. Lots of exciting racing. A great atmosphere. Some interesting cars to poke around (and some boringly modern ones too). And all bathed in beautiful weather until just after the last race. Perfect.
I swung past the 289 register area a couple of times but didn't manage to catch the owner of the car parked there. I did strike up a couple of conversations with other people who were taking an interest in it though. A friendly lot. (The 289 had interesting rear indicators - none of us had seen style that before.)
