Hi
i believe that i need competition leaf springs part number AHT20 or possibly CAHT20 rather than standard MGb leaf springs.
i cannot find anyone who has any. Any ideas?
thanks Stuart

AHT20Z
Competition lowered 1", no-one will have stock at the moment as everyone was building cars through lockdown!
I did have a set that I sold but they were snapped up.
For info Rubber Bumper ones will be slightly stiffer.

Hi Stuart,
Did you ever have any luck finding any? I'm in a similar position and seemingly running out of useful things I can do with the build before it all grinds to a halt. Gerry and the usual MGB parts stockists are still all completely out. I'm wondering if I need to get in touch with a manufacturer like Owen Springs or Jones Springs.
Stu - so the suffix after the AHT20 part denotes a different spec? i.e. AHT20 and AHT20Z and AHT20UR aren't interchangeable? Confusingly, Moss Europe list an AHT20Z as being 2.5" lowered.

You're lucky you didn't need them Stuart!
In case anyone else is interested, I contacted GB Springs today and they are out of stock for AHT20Z. They're not expecting to have them back until June/July!

Re: Rear Leaf Springs
For anyone else reading this thread, I've PM'd Simon and we've arranged picking up the springs.
Re: Rear Leaf Springs
Hi
The only part of my rear suspension i didnt replace was the leaf springs and even though they probbaly don't need replacing with new I would like to look at options so everything is shiny and new!
i recall there is lack of availability of CAHT 20 leaf springs (the competition variant) but i am not sure what was orignally fitted to the Hawk and whether standard leaf springs will suffice.
Questions
1. does anyone know spec of springs fitted to Hawk (original, competition or modified)?
2. any other suggestions? Are parabolic unsuitable even if fitted with lowering blocks?
thanks Stuart
