Driveh´shaft used as propshaft
Driveh´shaft used as propshaft
I have a pair of TVR Griffith driveshafts in perfect useful condition. Has anybody used a driveshaft with CV joints on each end as a propshaft, maybe with adaptors?

Re: Driveh´shaft used as propshaft
I wonder if there might be too much compliance in the joints to use as a propshaft?
Interesting question though.
I also wonder if they would be strong enough?
The ones I've seen tend to be a double CV joint at one end and a conventional prop joint at the other end.

Re: Driveh´shaft used as propshaft
My first thought is will they take the full power. Half shafts are normally only taking the strain to one wheel thus approx half the available power.
