Trying to understand the wiring on my Rover engined 289.
There are two relays covering the radiator fans - one fused at 30 Amps & one fused at 20 Amps - so says the "Hawk Cobra Cars Wiring Harness Instructions".
But why?? I have two fairly beefy 10" Mishimoto fans which each pull 13.08 Amps on startup and 6.8 amps running.
So why won't one relay fused at 30 A suffice??
I think I may be missing something but can't figure out exactly what.
Any help appreciated.
Just cheer you all up - here's a photo of about 1/3 of the tangle of multi-coloured spaghetti behind the dash that I'm trying to sort out.

By the by, I've noticed photos sometimes come out upside down when you select them, as does mine above ... any ideas why?
