I've spent hours the last few days looking for bezels for the PRS7 switch. Seems like the proverbial RHS.
Anyone have any ideas where to get them?
What size they are?
Thread type/size?
If anyone can confirm the dimensions I'd make some in s/s until I find the right ones.
Cheers,
Lucas PRS7 bezel
Re: Lucas PRS7 bezel
Have you tried SVC or Holdens?

Re: Lucas PRS7 bezel
I've had a Man look. Maybe get Mrs.B to have a proper look.
I think I have the thread sorted, just need a bit more confirmation then I'll make some in s/s. Should polish up well enough.
A lot of the time there isn't enough detail to help decide.
Same with the switches actually, I can't find the diagrams for any PRS7. Everyone lists the numbers but that doesn't tell you the contacts.

Hopefully this helps with the wiring.

I was looking for something more like this...
I have them for my toggle switches but not the PRS7

No, it's these:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/283387085219
To fit Lucas PRS7 Rotary switch
I have some 14mm bezels from Lucas toggle switches but they are a different thread.
I'll add a photo when I get to pc.

Well I can confirm the thread for my Switches is not BSCy 9/16", 26 tpi. I bought the taps to try. Slightly different pitch.
Re: Lucas PRS7 bezel
I just bought a new tap set.
NS32 9/16"
It's a nice snug fit in the bezel but there are two types, A and B that are different tolerances. Not sure which I have.
It's a 60degree thread but maybe it should be 55?
I can't verify the spec but it's a start.
I'll make a couple of bezels and see how they turn out. If they look OK I'll have a slack handful made in polished s/s.
Any further info appreciated.
