If you do end up breaking for parts - let me know. IRS rear, windscreen / wipers and anything else that can be transferred to a 289 FIA which is IVA friendly.

You are of course correct Clive that the SVA/ IVA is all about safety and compliance with road regulations. It’s all a bit of a blur now but I remember having to declare what parts were from the donor.
After the SVA I needed to visit the regional tax office as the final part of registration and they only wanted to see that the car existed and check the chassis number.
I assume Simon that you have bought said car?

The car has been withdrawn from the auction.
I think my best bet now is to break it for parts.
If anybody is interested in and parts, please respond here.
The body/chassis will be sold as one unit but everything else apart from the front suspension will be available. I have receipts for almost every part so there should be sufficient proof of purchase for IVA purposes.

Coincidentally, I’d also be interested in those parts if I win the 289 up at Mathewsons next weekend.
Only difference is I’d intend to keep the car and not flip it at THT like the last one that sold at Mathewsons a few months back.
